Konstantin Belikow was a Maryland senator for ten years before deciding to run for President. Since beginning his campaign, Belikow has stated many goals for the country with an emphasis on the environment and the economy.

He has often stated that there is not enough attention being focused on environmental issues, and plans on correcting this through actions such as creating tougher environmental regulations and introducing a carbon tax.

Economically, he believes in an increase of taxes on the upper class and a decrease of taxes on the lower and middle classes. Additionally, he plans to offer tax cuts to businesses which pay their employees higher wages.

Other issues Belikow has taken a stance on include decreasing military spending, improving relations with other powerful countries, such as Russia and China, and passing an amendment prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, sexual orientation, or gender.

As Belikow has often stated, his goals are far-reaching, and intended to extend beyond the length of his presidency.

“I will ensure a safe and prosperous future for all of our people,” Belikow said. “I simply refuse to accept anything less than the best for each and every one of you.”
